In some cases vehicles with high mileage may only qualify for a powertrain coverage. Typically this will be vehicles with 150,000 miles or more. Powertrain Basic coverage will only cover the essential listed powertrain components. Typically these items will include the following:
1. Engine – Listed Components
2. Transmission – Listed Components
3. Drive Axle Assembly – Listed Components
4. Additional Hybrid/Plug-In Electric Components – Listed Components
Maximum Limit of Liability for the Powertrain Basic Coverage is $5,000. For a full listing of covered components refer to your contract. Program details may differ by state. Other exclusions apply, see contract for further details. Vehicle Service Contracts are provided and administered by Vision Warranty Corporation.
